He was son of late Popatlal Keshavji Sumaria and late Lilaben Popatlal Sumaria of Dabasang, India. He was son-in-law of late Harakhchand Hansraj Haria, Paniben and late Gangaben Harakhchand Haria. He was husband of late Sudhaben.
He was father and father-in-law of Kaushik (Shiek) Shah, Shamir (Kalpana) Shah & Rina (Himanshu) Patel. He was grandfather of Roshni, Ethan and Maya.
He was brother and brother-in-law of late Ujamben, late Chunilalbhai (Motiben), Late Ratilalbhai (Kamlabenben), late Maganlalbhai (Hansaben), late Premchandbhai (late Nimuben) & Gunvantiben and Muktaben (late Mansukhlal) Shah.
He was brother-in-law of late Veljibhai & Jayaben, Shushilaben & late Keshavlal Shah, Kantaben (Ramaben) & Mohanlal, Hansa, Damu (Savitri) & Jiten, Kanti & Sunanda, late Dinesh & Kala (Kanta), Rekha & late Mahendra, Shulba & Mahmoud, Yogesh & Diane.
